Here’s how we are doing so far…

1. During our first class, on August 2nd, our starting cost on GOOG was 116. Our first trade, on August 2nd, was Sell To Open the Sept. 16, 122.5 strike price Call for 2.04.

That brought in $204 for every Call contract you sold.

It also lowered out cost basis on GOOG to 113.96.

The contract expired worthless, and we kept all the cash from selling the Call

2. We now own GOOG at a cost basis of 113.96.

On Sept. 20, on the Monday following Friday's expiration, we Sell To Open the Oct, 26, 113 strike price Call for 1.59.

That brought in $159 cash for every Call option sold.

Now our cost basis is 112.37.

This trade expires on Oct. 26.

If GOOG is below 113 on Oct. 26 this option will expire worthless, and we will own GOOG with a cost basis of 112.37.

GOOG was below 113 on Oct. 26 so the options expired worthless. On Oct. 31, We had the stock and all the premiums and our cost basis is 112.37.

During our class on Oct. 31, we sold the Dec. 2, 101 Call for 1.64. Now our cost basis is 110.73.

On Dec 1, I bought back the 101 Calls at 1.36

Dec. 5. During our Dec. 5th class, we sold the GOOG Jan 20, 110 Call for 1.39.

Our new cost basis is 110.71.
